Individual Therapy for Adults

You need to talk, and I'm here to listen. But listening isn’t all that I’ll do. I aim to collaborate with clients in a dynamic process of exploration and discovery. I will ask you thought-provoking questions, invite you to consider new perspectives, and engage you in a conversation that will promote insight and growth. I believe an authentic, trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation for healing. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I may challenge you to “try on” a different way of thinking or to break free from an entrenched pattern of behavior, but I will always lead with compassion and respect. I draw from multiple therapeutic modalities, including Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness. My integrative approach allows me to tailor our work to meet your specific needs.

I can help you…

  • Manage anxiety and depression

  • Identify, understand, and express your emotions

  • Get "unstuck" from unhelpful patterns of thought or behavior

  • Improve communication with your loved ones

  • Interrupt procrastination, avoidance, and inertia

  • Overcome perfectionism and imposter syndrome

  • Process grief and loss

  • Get more sleep

  • Navigate life transitions

  • Cultivate self-compassion and self-acceptance

  • Become more present and live in the "now"

Fees & Insurance

Fees: My rate is $220 for a 50-minute therapy session. I accept payment via credit card, HSA or FSA card, check, or cash.

Sliding Scale: I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee appointments per week for clients facing economic hardship. If you are interested in working with me but are unable to pay my full rate, please reach out. I will determine if I'm able to accommodate you, and if not, I will be happy to provide referrals.

Insurance: I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. Depending on your plan, you may be eligible for full or partial reimbursement from your insurance company. I will happily provide you a "superbill" to submit to your insurer upon request.

Good Faith Estimate: You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under federal law, health care providers are required to provide patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
